Meet Elite Sound

Founder & Owner

Johnny Budz

For more than three decades, Johnny Budz has built a career around one thing: knowing how to move a crowd. From NYC radio and legendary nightlife venues to hundreds of weddings and private events, Johnny brings a level of experience that’s difficult to duplicate. His career includes 103.5 KTU, SiriusXM, Music Choice, Pulse 87 and 92.3 NOW, along with years behind the decks at some of the tri-state area’s most recognized clubs and venues, including D’Jais in Belmar, NJ for over 2 decades. That background shapes the way Johnny approaches weddings today — live mixing, reading the room, seamless transitions and knowing exactly when to take the energy to the next level. His style blends the energy of a great nightclub with the professionalism and attention to detail a wedding demands. As the founder and owner of Elite Sound Entertainment, Johnny has helped shape the company’s approach for more than 23 years: no cookie-cutter playlists, no cheesy DJ routines — just great music, packed dance floors and celebrations that feel like you. Johnny accepts a limited number of weddings and events each year.
