It seems like a fair and simple question, right? Actually, this question should be considered an absolute TOP priority when newly engaged couples are ‘interviewing’ potential DJ companies. Unfortunately, not all DJs are able to call themselves “full time” entertainers, and therefore they will not be able to take the time to sit down with prospective clients. Some people might think, well thats OK – “as long as its a reputable company I’m sure our DJ will be fine”. In our business, “Fine” is not good enough. In order for you to make the best decision, it is imperative that you meet the actual DJ and/or MC that will be at your wedding. Selecting your DJ company just based off of their reputation, does not guarantee that you will be assigned a DJ/MC that you feel comfortable with. What happens if you finally meet your DJ a month before the wedding, and you realize it’s not a good fit. I’m sure the last thing a bride and groom want to do 30 days before the wedding is scramble to somehow switch DJs, especially because at that point, mostly everyone will be booked already. The DJ/MC is a very hands-on role in the wedding process, and it is so important that a bride and groom feel completely comfortable with everything their specific DJ/MC can offer!
