Sandra & Jimmy 12-6-14 w/ DJ Johnny Budz

Every wedding I DJ is very special, but when its for a friend, it has another meaning to it. Sandra has been a bartender where I DJ at (D’Jais & Rise) for many many years. She knows 100 DJ’s, and I was honored that she asked me to DJ her wedding. Her and Jimmy picked one of my favorite venues (Westmount Country Club) and it was one hell of a celebration! They also selected our recommended photographer & videographer – Jessica Lauren Photography and Kaan Tuglar Videography which just makes the evening so much smoother.

Right from the bridal party introductions, my MC – Lucas Prata had the room jumping! We set the tone right from the start with a quick dance set immediately following Sandra & Jimmy’s introduction into the room.

The entire room was on the dance floor right from the start. As the night went on, I made sure I kept Sandra’s mother and family moving with a latin set to go along with some oldies for their older guests. Once main course was complete, we took it to another level with a big mix of current and classic dance tracks sprinkled in with some current Top 40.

We added a little live effect with our live percussionist Dave. Sandra even got on the drums and showed her true talents!

As always, our photo booth was a huge hit along with our intelligent lighting and plasma displays that were showcasing pictures from earlier in the day and throughout the reception. Sandra had a custom hashtag for her wedding and every time a guest took a picture and used that hashtag, our custom program found the pic and displayed those pics on the plasma screens. Also, instead of a traditional photo montage, we decided to have her montage pics rotate randomly all throughout dinner which is quickly becoming a popular option for our couples!
