Kiewit Holiday Party with DJ Steve & DJ Cory

This past weekend DJ Steve and myself had the privilege to celebrate with the great people of Kiewit at The Madison Hotel in Morristown, NJ. The night from beginning to end went exactly how a perfectly plan Corporate Holiday Party should go. It started in the Conservatory for cocktail hour and after we were all set up we decided to take a trip down to mingle with the guests and try to get a vibe of the crowd. Walking down the steps into the room right away you can tell we were in for one great party!

The bar was packed which is always a good sign to start off the night! All the guests were interacting with each other and laughing while the wonderful staff was passing around some delicious finger foods. They chose to go with our live musician Dave to supply the music for cocktail hour and he did an awesome job creating a great tone to start off the night in the right direction.

 After cocktail it was time to start bringing the guests into the main room and we wanted to create a welcoming atmosphere for the first impression. They picked a great package with two intelligent lights and two 50 inch plasma screen TVs that would be streaming pictures from our candid photographer the entire night and really involving every one of the guests in the party.

The guests starting pouring in and with the ambience in the room and our background music playing, they automatically made their way to the dance floor. Within minutes we had the dance floor packed. There was a diverse crowd so we made sure we played a mix of genres that had everyone’s hands up on the dance floor all night long!

 In addition to our set up, they had our photo booth package that included unlimited pictures and prints and was run by our attendant the entire night. The guests were having such a good time using the booth making some memories.
