How does this work?

You will work with your personal event planner throughout your process. We first meet or have a phone conference to answer all your questions. When you have questions for your DJ, you will have his contact info as well. You will also have your personal online planner to enter song requests, notes for your DJ, etc. You will have your final appointment with your DJ 1-2 weeks before your date to go over EVERY detail. You can also request to meet/chat on phone with him anytime during your planning. Because our DJ’s are so busy and may not be able to answer your calls/emails as fast as you need them to, I am assigned your personal planner to walk with you every step of the way.

How much is this?

As a full service entertainment company, we offer a ton of options. Therefore you will decide what you want/like, and I’ll do my best to work within your budget. Our wedding packages start at $2500. Our average package lands in the 3500k – 4500k range if you select some add-on’s.

When should I book my DJ

We usually book 1-2 years in advance. Obviously the quicker you book, the less risk you have of us booking up your date

Can I select my personal DJ? When do I meet him?

If you have a specific DJ in mind, yes, as long as he is available for your date, you can select him. You can schedule a meeting anytime to meet with him if you choose.

How do I know which DJ will be right for me?

All of our DJ’s have an average of 10 years performing at weddings. They have the ability to read any crowd, and play almost any kind of style of music. Unless you want a strong specific type of music (example – 80% Latin music all night), all of our DJ’s will be able to read your crowd and play the music you and your guests will need to rock your dance floor. Plus you will meet with him in advance for extreme detailed meetings so he will know EXACTLY what you’ll want, and not want.

What is my DJ’s style?

Our DJ’s wear many hats and can perform many different ways. After you sit down with him, he will know the style you will want from him and he will be that guy. If you don’t want him on the MIC every 5 minutes, no problem! If you want him turning your last hour into a nightclub, piece of cake!

Does my DJ also MC?

Some of our staff do both. If your DJ is also your MC, he will bring a fully trained assistant to DJ while your main DJ is on the dance floor performing MC duties (announcing toasts, cake cutting, etc). Some of our DJ’s do not MC, therefore you’ll have a separate MC. If you have a preference, we will certainly assign the correct staff for you.

Do you take requests?

On your online DJ planner, this is one of the questions you will answer for your DJ. Most of the time your DJ will use his judgement.  After meeting with you, and he knows you don’t want the “Electric Slide”, rest assured he will turn down the request when Aunt Margaret asks him to play “Electric Slide.”

Will you play MY music?

Of course. Your online planner has a music request section, along with a “no not play” section. You’ll go over these songs, and ALL music you will want and not want played during your DJ meeting

Have you been to my venue?

Elite Sound has been doing this since 2002. Unless your venue is brand new, or very unique we’ve been to your venue, and have a great relationship with their staff. We definitely suggest you ask your venue about us.
