When you’re interviewing potential wedding DJs for your big day, be SURE to ask these 10 questions for starters:
1 – Do you offer a written contract?
If they say no, the interview is over.
2 – Will you be the DJ at our wedding?
You’d be surprised at how often the answer is “no.” That’s not what you want to hear.
3 – May we meet with you in person before we sign a contract?
Another question where “no” will end the interview.
4 – How long will you hold our date for us?
If they don’t give you what you want, and won’t put it in a contract, move on.
5 – Do you work exclusively for this company?
You want a DJ loyal to the company you’re talking with.
6 – How long have you been a DJ and how many weddings have you done?
Obviously, the longer and more the better.
7 – How many weddings do you do each year?
Another telltale sign.
8 – How many other types of events do you do per year?
Good to know this individual’s talents and creativity.
9 – Do you perform for more than one event in a day?
You don’t want this on your special day!
10 – What makes you different from your competitors?
Listen to what they have to say – these answers could seal the deal for you.
