Planning a wedding and hand picking your vendors can be challenging.  Picking a DJ is something most newly engaged couples have never experienced.  When meeting the couple for the first time, I find that many of them are asking the same questions.  In order to help answer some of the basic questions we get asked, here is a list of the top frequently asked questions we receive.

Q: How long as Elite Sound Entertainment been in business?

A: Elite Sound Entertainment has been performing at weddings since 2002.

Q: How will you and your staff dress for our wedding?

A: All of our staff members are dressed to impress. If we are following a dress attire guide that would translate to business formal. A stylish fitted business suit with a dress shirt, dress shoes, and a conservative tie is a good example of how we dress.

Q: Is Elite Sound Entertainment Insured?

A: Yes, we are a fully insured entertainment company. If your venue is requesting a copy of our liability insurance, a copy of your policy will be inside your online planner.

Q: Do you take breaks, and are we required to feed the DJ and staff?

A: We have no scheduled breaks throughout the night.  If we are given meals, which is greatly appreciated, we will make sure that we eat during a time that you and your guest are also enjoying their meal.  Our number 1 priority is making sure your event is tended to.

Q: Do you bring back up equipment?

A: Yes. All of our DJ’s are required to have at least 2 full setups with them on all events.  We also have 2 warehouse offices located in North Jersey (Saddle Brook) and Central/South Jersey (Manalapan) to store extra equipment.  Our production staff always has extra equipment loaded on the trucks in the event of an equipment let down.  We can proudly say that we use all top of the line equipment to avoid issues with equipment.

Q: How many weddings have you done? How many years have you been DJ’ing?

A: Our DJ’s average between 60-100 weddings per year with an average of 10 years experience.

Q: Is there a charge for set-up/break-down, and what time do you arrive to set up?

A: Elite Sound Entertainment does NOT charge a set up fee.  Our set up time varies based on the ice of the set up.  We will be set up, fully dressed and rehearsed before the start of your cocktail hour.

Q: Can we select our own music? Does our DJ help us select music?

A: Elite Sound Entertainment encourages you to request specific songs.  With that said, we also want you to trust us when it comes to learning your specific style of music.  Our music knowledge and ability to customize your music is one of many reasons why Elite Sound Entertainment is so highly rated and respected. In addition, your DJ will be more than willing to provide you with a multitude of suggestions based on your preferences and preferred style of music.

Q: What is your payment plans?

A: Your initial deposit is $500. 6 months before your event, half the balance is due. Final payment is due 14 days before
